  • I’m not good enough – as a mother, a wife or a woman
  • I’m not attractive any more

  • I don’t feel like sex any more

  • I don’t feel connected to being a woman

Maybe you say different things to yourself – or feel different things – which are equally destructive and negative.

Negative Thoughts, Feelings And Self Beliefs Impact Our Hormones

When you feel this way about yourself, think these sorts of negative thoughts, and have self-beliefs that are destructive or dark – they not only make you feel sad, down, negative and helpless.  They also affect your hormones…

You see, what you may not know is that your hormones don’t direct you – you direct your hormones. 

The way we, as women, direct our hormones has a lot to do with how we feel about ourselves and the world around us.

Brain Chemicals Send Messages of Confusion And Chaos To Our Hormones

Negative emotions and limiting self-beliefs create chemical messages in the brain and nervous system that create internal confusion, stress and chaos.

When this happens, the brain releases unbalanced chemical messages to the hormone-producing parts of our bodies.  This internal chaos and confusion at the brain level echoes through the entire body – creating stress and imbalance in all areas including – and especially – in our hormones.

Unbalanced Emotions = Unbalanced Hormones

This hormonal imbalance can lead to a host of physical issues, such as:

  • dry and sagging skin and hair
  • weight gain
  • depression and sadness
  • low moods and unbalanced moods
  • low libido and changes in body shape and composition
